Державний Гімн України
Державний гімн України – один із головних державних символів України поряд із прапором і гербом. Державний гімн – пісня «Ще не вмерла України і Слава, і Воля»: слова Павла Чубинського, музика Михайла Вербицького. Офіційна музична редакція Мирослава Скорика та Євгена Станковича (для хору і фортепіано) ухвалена Верховною Радою 15 січня 1992 року, текст гімну затверджено Законом України «Про Державний Гімн України» 6 березня 2003 року.
Закон України «Про Державний Гімн України»
Стаття 1. Державним Гíмном України є національний гімн на музику М. Вербицького зі словами першого куплету та приспіву твору П. Чубинського в такій редакції:
«Ще не вмерла України і слава, і воля,
Ще нам, браття молодії, усміхнеться доля.
Згинуть наші воріженьки, як роса на сонці.
Запануєм і ми, браття, у своїй сторонці.
Приспів:
Душу й тіло ми положим за нашу свободу,
І покажем, що ми, браття, козацького роду».
Стаття 2. Встановити, що урочисті заходи загальнодержавного значення розпочинаються і закінчуються виконанням Державного Гімну України.
Музичне виконання Державного Гімну України здійснюється під час проведення офіційних державних церемоній та інших заходів.
Стаття 3. Наруга над Державним Гімном України тягне за собою відповідальність, передбачену законом.
Стаття 4. Цей Закон набирає чинності з дня його опублікування.

Цей закон підтримали 334 народних депутати, проти висловилися 46 із 433, що зареєструвалися для голосування. Не брали участі в голосуванні фракції Соцпартії та Компартії. З прийняттям цього закону стаття 20 Конституції України набула завершеного вигляду. Національний гімн на музику Михайла Вербицького отримав слова, затверджені законом.

26 лютого 2022 року Державне агентство України з питань мистецтв та мистецької освіти закликало музикантів включати в концертні програми та виконувати Державний гімн України на підтримку українського народу.
Тhe National Anthem of Ukraine
Тhe National Anthem of Ukraine is one of the principal State Symbols of Ukraine along with the National Flag and the National Coat of Arms of Ukraine. Тhe National Anthem of Ukraine is the song “Glorious Spirit of Ukraine Shines and Lives Forever” by Pavlo Chubynsky (lyrics) and Mykhailo Verbytsky (music). The official musical editing was performed by Myroslav Skoryk and Jevgen Stankovych (for choir and piano) and approved by the Supreme Council of Ukraine (Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine) on 15 January 1992. The text of the national anthem was approved by the Ukrainian Law “On the National Anthem of Ukraine” dd 6 March 2003.
Ukrainian Law “On the National Anthem of Ukraine”
Article 1. The State Anthem of Ukraine is the National Anthem composed by M. Verbytsky and the first verse with refrain of the lyrics by Pavlo Chubynsky in the edition as follows:
Glorious spirit of Ukraine shines and lives forever.
Blessed by Fortune brotherhood will stand up together.
Like the dew before the sun enemies will fade,
We will further rule and prosper in our promised land.
Refrain:
We will lay our soul and body for the cherished freedom.
Cossack blood will raise the nation of the joyous people.
Article 2. Honourable all-national events shall begin and finish with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine.
The musical execution of the National Anthem of Ukraine shall be carried out at the official state ceremonies and other events.
Article 3. Any desecration of the National Anthem of Ukraine is to be prosecuted and punished pursuant to the Law.
Article 4. This law shall be effective since the day of its publication.

The mentioned law was adopted by 334 people's deputies, 46 out of 433 people's deputies registered for voting were against this law. The party factions who did not participate in voting were Social Party and Communist Party. The adoption of this law completed the provisions of the 20th Article of the Ukrainian Constitution. The National Anthem of Ukraine composed by Mykhailo Verbytsky is enshrined by the Ukrainian Law.

On 26 February 2022, the State Agency of Ukraine for Arts and Art Education encouraged the musicians to incorporate the National Anthem of Ukraine into their concert programmes with the aim to support the Ukrainian nation.
